Keeping children safe in a vehicle is a top priority for families, and Evenflo takes this responsibility very seriously. We are issuing a voluntary recall on select SureRide/Titan 65 convertible car seats distributed in the United States and Canada because a small number of units were shipped without the top tether strap designed to improve protection when installed forward-facing.
The issue was identified through customer feedback, and there have been no reported injuries.
Parents and caregivers should check the back of the car seat for the tether strap and hook. If the tether strap is present, the car seat can continue to be used as directed. If the tether strap is missing, consumers should contact Evenflo’s ParentLink consumer care department at 1-800-233-5921 (U.S.) or 1-800-265-0749 (Canada), or email ParentLink@evenflo.com to receive a free replacement kit with a tether strap.
While waiting for a replacement, consumers can continue to use the car seat in rear-facing mode. Evenflo does not recommend using this seat in forward-facing mode without the tether strap, and Canadian law requires the use of the tether strap when forward-facing. If your car seat is missing the tether strap, we strongly encourage you to contact ParentLink to obtain a replacement tether strap immediately.

Q1: What product is being recalled and why?
Evenflo is issuing a voluntary recall on select SureRide/Titan 65 convertible car seat models manufactured between March 1, 2025 and December 11, 2025 and sold in the United States and Canada. A small number of consumers reported their seats being delivered without the top tether strap, which is used only for forward-facing mode. No injuries have been reported.

Q2: How do I know if my seat is affected?
Step 1: Check the back of the car seat for the tether strap and hook.
Step 2: Check the car seat’s model number and date of manufacture by referring to the following information:
· U.S.: 3711198, 3712198, CS200312198, CS200311198
· Canada: 37111835C, 37111835CD
· Date of Manufacture: 03/01/25 to 12/11/25
